Les Variétés opened in 1902 on boulevard du Maréchal Foch, a few steps from the theatre it takes its name from — almost opposite, slightly to the right. The theatre became a cinema, then a supermarket. The brasserie never moved: it still carries the name of the hall it used to face. At 33 boulevard du Maréchal Foch, 49100 Angers, we serve lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday, with a set menu at lunchtime from Monday to Friday. Eve and Romain have run the house since 2022; in the kitchen, chef Théo works with French meat and fish from Maison Savia in Saumur. Everything is prepared on site. At the counter you can have a coffee in the morning or a drink at the end of the day, and nobody will ask whether you are eating.
