Winter events
Winter is marked by Soleils d’hiver, the Christmas events and the end-of-year markets. Visitors come to do their shopping, see shows, discover the illuminations or meet up with loved ones. A break at Les Variétés is a chance to warm up over a hot drink, a winter dish or a convivial meal.
The Premiers Plans festival also draws audiences and film professionals in January. The central location of Les Variétés is convenient before a screening, between two showings or after a day at the festival. Also in January, SIVAL, a major professional event, takes place at the Parc des expositions, from 12 to 14 January 2027.
Spring events
Spring hosts in particular Made in Angers, a chance to discover the region’s businesses and know-how. Participants may be looking for somewhere to have lunch, entertain a client or organise a team meal.
Summer events
The Festival d’Anjou, Échappées d’art and Tempo Rives set the pace of the summer season. Shows, art installations and concerts draw a varied public to the streets, gardens and cultural venues. Les Variétés is a central address for lunch before an activity, dinner after a show or sharing a drink.
The autumn cultural season
In September, the Accroche-cœurs turn the streets of Angers into an open-air theatre. Levitation France completes the music programme. During these periods, it is advisable to book in advance, particularly for a group or a meal before a show.
Trade fairs, conferences and competitions all year round
The Centre des congrès, the Parc des expositions and the sports venues host trade fairs, conventions, competitions and shows. Visitors can consult the specialised pages for their event: business meal, quick lunch, restaurant for athletes, meal after a match or a break between two meetings.
