That is the reason for this page. A wedding fair shows you photos and brochures; it does not tell you whether thirty people really fit in a room, or how noisy it gets. The Salle Haute, upstairs, has thirty seats. The Bressigny room has twenty-five. Come for lunch, have a look, and ask your questions to someone who will be there on the day.
Saturday, yes. Sunday, usually not.
The fair lasts two days. We are open on Saturday, from 10 am to 2 am, and closed on Sunday, all day, except on exceptional dates; a group can be welcomed by reservation, once confirmed with the team. If you want to combine a visit to the fair with a meal with us, that means the Saturday of the fair. It is the most useful constraint on this page, and it is settled by choosing your day.
What we do, and what we do not do
We are not a château or a reception venue to hire for a hundred and fifty guests: we are a city-centre brasserie. Our five spaces range from thirteen to forty-three seats, and the house has eighty-five covered seats. For a large wedding, this is not the place. For a family meal the day before, a dinner for the witnesses or the private hire of a room, it is — and we prefer to say it in that order.
The day before and the day after, which nobody plans
A wedding is not just one day. It is also the families who arrive the day before and need feeding somewhere, and the guests who linger the next day before catching their train. A city-centre address, within walking distance of Saint-Laud station, takes care of those two meals. It is the request we receive most often, and rarely the one people come looking for at a fair.
Hiring a room privately
The Salle Haute, thirty seats upstairs, is available for private hire — and so is the whole establishment, up to eighty-five guests. It is the right format for a witnesses’ dinner, an extended family meal or a planning meeting with both families. Up to thirty people fit in a single room without being scattered. At the table
A French brasserie menu cooked on the premises. Our meat is French, our fish comes from Maison Savia in Saumur. Vegetarian options, vegan diets, children’s menu: say so when booking, not on arrival. For a family meal, that is precisely what makes the difference.
The Parc des Expositions is not in the city centre
The fair takes place at the Parc des Expositions, out of the centre. We are in the centre. Allow for the journey between the two: this page offers you lunch or dinner before or after the fair, not a ten-minute break between two stands.
What we do not promise
A large reception room. Opening on Sunday for a single table. And the terrace, forty-three seats, which depends on the October sky and cannot be booked in advance.
