Restaurant near the Angers wedding fair

A practical English guide to restaurant near the angers wedding fair, with local information, visitor advice and direct online booking.

The Angers Wedding & Receptions fair takes place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026 at the exhibition centre. You spend the day comparing dresses, caterers and venues — in photographs. Les Variétés are at 33 boulevard du Maréchal Foch, in the city centre, and the difference with a stand is that here the room can actually be seen.

After the fair, see a room for real

That is the point of this page. A fair shows you photographs and brochures; it does not tell you whether thirty people genuinely fit in a room, or how loud it gets. The Salle Haute, upstairs, seats thirty. The Bressigny room seats twenty-five. Come for lunch, look at them, and ask your questions of someone who will be there on the day.

Saturday yes. Sunday no.

The fair runs for two days. We are open on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., and closed on Sunday, all day. So if you want to combine the fair with a meal here, it is Saturday 24 October. That is the most useful constraint on this page and it is settled simply by choosing your day.

What we do, and what we do not

We are not a château or a reception venue to be hired for a hundred and fifty guests: we are a city-centre brasserie. Our five spaces run from thirteen to forty-three seats, and the house holds eighty-five indoors. For a large wedding, this is not the address. For a family meal the night before, a lunch the day after, a dinner with the witnesses or the hire of one room, it is — and we prefer to say it in that order.

The day before and the day after, which nobody plans for

A wedding is not only one day. It is also the families who arrive the night before and have to be fed somewhere, and the guests who linger the next morning before catching a train. A city-centre address, within walking distance of Saint-Laud station, solves both of those meals. It is the request we receive most often, and rarely the one people come looking for at a fair.

Hiring a room

The Salle Haute, thirty seats upstairs, can be taken privately. That is the format that suits a dinner with the witnesses, an extended family meal or a planning session with both families. Up to thirty people fit in one room without being scattered. Call 02 41 88 46 62: this kind of request is not settled by an online form.

At the table

A French brasserie menu, cooked on the premises. Our meat is French, our fish comes from Maison Savia in Saumur. Vegetarian dishes, vegan diets, a children's menu: say so when you book, not on arrival. For a family meal, that is exactly what makes the difference.

The exhibition centre is not in the city centre

The fair is held at the exhibition centre, out of town. We are in the middle of it. Allow for the journey between the two: this page offers you lunch or dinner before or after the fair, not a ten-minute break between two stands.

What we do not promise

A large reception hall. Opening on a Sunday. And the terrace, forty-three seats, which depends on an October sky and is never held in advance.

Checking the dates of the fair

The dates above are those announced for the 2026 edition at the exhibition centre. The official Wedding & Receptions fair website is authoritative for opening times, tickets and the list of exhibitors.
